Maintenance, Operation And Management Of Pavers

A Paver Machine is a major construction equipment used to carry out paving operations of road base and surface materials. It consists of a number of systems working in tandem, including the travelling system, the hydraulic system and the material delivery and distribution system.

To ensure safe operation and improve construction efficiency, Paver Machine operators need to receive specialised training. They need to understand the mechanical performance, structure and have knowledge of maintenance. Only after the relevant departments have confirmed their qualifications can the operators operate the machine alone. In order to use the Road Paver Machine reasonably, give full play to the machinery's performance, and complete the construction tasks safely to improve economic benefits, the operators should do the following:
1. check the three fluids (engine oil level, antifreeze level and hydraulic oil level) before switching on the machine every day, and replenish them to the normal indication scale in time if they are found insufficient.
2. check the gear oil level of the distributor box and helical gear box, if it is insufficient, it must be added to the normal indication scale in time.
3. check the tightness of the connecting bolts of each part of the Rubber Paving Machine, especially whether the bolts of the left and right dolly frames and racks, screed, baffle plate, auger boom and scraper conveyor are loose or broken, and if necessary, need to carry out tightening operation.
4. check whether the spitfire head, connecting pipe and gas tank switch of the heating system are normal.
5. check whether the grease of automatic lubrication device is sufficient .
6. Check whether the electrical plugs are loose and fall off.
7. check whether the spiral blade is seriously worn, if necessary, replace it in time.
8. Before starting, check whether each switch on the operation panel is in the stop position to ensure that there is no interference between the rotating parts.
9. clean the Paver Machine at the end of each day's work, removing materials such as water-stabilised materials and asphalt materials adhering to and accumulating on the surface, as well as removing dust and grease from the surface of the machine, hydraulic components and other parts.
