Working principle
The dump truck carrying the asphalt mixture is backed up against the receiving hopper of the paver until the rear wheel of the truck makes contact with the push roller in front of the paver hopper. The car is in neutral and pushed by the paver to run, while the dump car is slowly raised and the asphalt mixture is slowly unloaded into the receiving hopper of the paver. The scraper conveyer located at the bottom of the receiving hopper is driven by the power transmission system and operates at a certain speed to continuously and evenly transfer the asphalt mixture in the hopper to the roadbed in the front channel of the spiral paver. The spiral paver tranquilizes the mixture to the left and right along the entire width of the paver and spreads it on the roadbed. The spread asphalt mixture layer is initially rammed by the vibrating beam of the ironing device, and then the vibratory ironing plate is vibrated and prepressed again, shaped and ironed to become a flat paving layer with certain density. After the pressure of the roller, the paving layer becomes a qualified road surface.

Asphalt pavers are mainly composed of the following parts:
Power unit: Choose more diesel engine to provide power for the whole machine.
Transmission system: including walking transmission, feeding device, power transmission of working device, etc. Modern pavers mostly use hydraulic transmission to achieve stepless speed regulation and automatic control.
Walking device: according to different models, it is divided into track type and tire type.
Feeding device: including hopper, scraper conveyor and spiral paver, etc., for receiving, transporting and spreading asphalt mixture.
Ironing device: including ironing plate, thickness regulator, camber regulator and heating device for pre-compaction, shaping and ironing of paving layer.
Characteristics and application
Asphalt paver has the characteristics of high paving efficiency, good paving quality and high degree of automation. It is widely used in asphalt concrete paving in highways, urban roads, large freight yards, parking lots, docks and airports. At the same time, it can also be used for stable materials and dry hard cement concrete material paving operations.
Care and maintenance
In order to ensure the long-term stable operation of asphalt pavers and extend their service life, regular maintenance and maintenance must be carried out. This includes cleaning equipment, inspection of worn parts, lubrication maintenance, electrical system inspection, and control of the storage environment.
